  • Actively suicidal and/or homicidal, requiring acute hospitalization.
  • Unstable medical conditions that might do irreversible damage to the patient, which requires intensive medical management.
  • Actively psychotic or severely disorganized thought processes requiring stabilization, which precludes residential care.
  • Severe organic brain disorders and non-ambulatory individuals.

We can utilize any contracted insurance policy that covers Residential Treatment Services. Please verify with your benefits department to determine if Benchmark Behavioral Health is in-network. Alternatively, we are also able to engage in a self-pay plan for parents who do not have a policy that covers our services. For households that qualify, through an application process, a discount may be applied to our customary daily rate.

With most insurance plans, coverage is determined by the insurance company’s medical necessity terms for Long-Term Care, Residential Treatment, or Inpatient Mental Health Services. Please review your insurance benefit guide to determine the terms of coverage.

Our daily billed rate is $1,200.00 per day and is all-inclusive. Each insurance policy has a different co-pay, out-of-pocket yearly maximum and benefit coverage. Please contact your insurance company for more information.
